Review 0.4.0 - Laser Pointer, Compare Redesign, Sorting Improvements & Syncing Stability

A critical bug was fixed that would cause continuous requests to the CDN. The affected version 0.3.2 has been retracted and we strongly recommend upgrading.

This update brings loads of new features, enhancements and fixes.

Laser Pointer

You can now share your cursor with other users and draw temporary shapes to better get your feedback across. The default brush colour is now based on the users colour so everyone can easily differentiate each other.

Compare Redesign

The compare tool has been redesigned to be easier to use and clearer what you are comparing to.

  • Comparing now uses A and B that makes it easier to see what is being compared.

  • Right click on a reviewable (cmd+click) to compare against another reviewable.

Sorting

We have made it easier to sort clips in a review session by any attribute whilst also setting any manual sorting. This also includes a new list view so you can get a better overview of your review session. Sort clips on the Review page or on the fly inside a review session.

Syncing Stability

We have been listening to feedback and discovering edges cases. The syncing is now more stable and performant.

Other Improvements

  • Restore the “Clips” view

  • Improve clip loading strategy in larger sessions

  • Add multiple clips to a session at once

  • Lots of small bugs fixes

Review is a premium addon included with the Studio subscription, or as an extra with a Pro subscription.
