Please also add the version up Workfile button to Nuke

Possibly with a nice shortcut, like the shortcuts that are already there? Currently thats Alt+ Shift + S in nuke, but that file gets lost by the ayon launcher. Personally I think it makes sense to remove the default File > Save New Comp button and replace it with an ayon aware one. This can be done, and it’ll be more robust. You’ve launched through ayon anyway, why use a button that instantly makes it go out of pipe?

    I am assuming this could be simply solved by attaching the procedure under saving callback. The feature request is quite solid. Please could you add it to ayon-nuke issues backlog?

      Sure, you’re saying that for DCC specific ones I should add them there? Because I’ve been spamming the feedback portal here quite a bit, but that was generally for front-end things ( thanks Luke :) )

    I recall we had an internal discussion about removing default File > Save.
    Unfortunately, I can’t remember the discussion. Maybe@Martin Ličko (murphy)can tell.

      Just for clarity I think the original file save should stay, just new version can go once ayon is involved, since it’s a pipeline breaking button. I’ve seen it set up with that button replaced with a pipeline aware one multiple times at different companies, very clean, very “human design”
