I would like to request a new user-focused improvement for the AYON task view.
The idea is to make the task list adapt automatically to the user’s daily workflow, so artists immediately see what they should work on without having to manually search or filter.

1️⃣ “Today’s Tasks” — Auto-Promoted View

When the user logs in, AYON should automatically highlight or promote tasks that are:

• Starting today

• Ending today

• Due today

• Recently assigned

This helps the user instantly understand what needs attention right now, without navigating through multiple pages or filters.

Why this helps:

• Users don’t miss important deadlines

• Faster daily start — no manual searching

• Clear understanding of immediate priorities

2️⃣ Automatically Hide Completed Tasks

Completed or approved tasks should be auto-collapsed or hidden by default.

The user should not have to manually filter “Done” tasks every time they open the task view.

Why this helps:

• Task view becomes cleaner

• Avoids confusion with closed tasks

• Focus stays on active work only

3️⃣ Optional Filters for Status (Active Only)

Although tasks are auto-filtered, users should still be able to manually view:

• In Progress tasks

• Ready tasks

• Waiting for review

• On Hold

But the default state should only show tasks that require action.

Benefit:

• Smooth workflow

• Artists stay focused

• Reduces time spent managing task lists

4️⃣ Smart Sorting by Relevant Dates

Tasks should be automatically sorted by relevance:

• Closest deadline first

• Tasks starting today

• Tasks ending soon

• Tasks waiting for user action

This creates a natural workflow order without manual sorting.

5️⃣ Impact on User Experience

This feature improves day-to-day artist productivity:

• More intuitive task list

• Less clutter

• Immediate visibility of urgent tasks

• Faster onboarding for new artists

Daily workflow becomes automatic and stress-free
