Client logging

Currently the only way to see the logging output is to launch from the console using 

ayon_console addon applications launch --app <app full name> --project <project name> --folder <folder path> --task <task name>

so there is no logging by default even when launching using the --debug flag.

I did search the documentation, and looking in the usual locations for log files (%LOCALAPPDATA%\\Ynput\\AYON, etc)but could not find anything about logging from the client.

In conclusion, unless there’s a reason not to, have the client log its output to a file by default?

    I’m not sure how soon this issue can be tackled.

    To be explicit, I’m speaking about application launch log. since web actions start a new terminal to run the launch command, printed log in this terminal vanishes as soon as the terminal is closed.

    It seems the only way to check them to open the terminal and run the command manually.

    For launcher log, it’s printed in the console if you have launched it from a console.

    For application launch log, it’s explained above.

    For application log, you can find itProcess Monitor Tool

    For publish log, you can find it in the Creator / Publisher once publish is finished.
