Functional Source License (FSL)

We’re changing the License of AYON server from Apache 2.0 to Functional Source License (FSL). This change only affects those who have or plan to create a wrapper around AYON to monetise it as either a competing service or resell it. We’ve made this change to help aid the long-term sustainability of developing AYON.

Power features

We’ve launched the power features for all AYON subscribers. Starting with annotations and slicing we plan to add more features over time.

AYON subscribers can download the Power features Addon from the Market page in AYON (requires 1.7.0 or higher).

Annotations

One of the first major and long-awaited Power Features is video annotations.

• Mark up any frame of a video or image.

• Adjust brush size and erase with a simple right-click.

• Choose from preset colours, pick a custom shade, or use the eyedropper tool.

• Full keyboard support.

Task Progress Slicer

The second Power Feature is the slicer.

The slicer lets you filter attributes on the fly without changing existing filters, making data exploration fast and flexible. Slice by hierarchy, assignee, status, and task type.
